It was an honour for International Singapore Emcee Wayne Chan to host the launch symposium for Spevigo, a breakthrough treatment for adults with GPP flares, proudly organised by Boehringer Ingelheim , under the auspices of the Dermatological Society of Singapore last year, one of many such pharmaceutical and medical events Emcee Wayne had the pleasure to host in recent times.

Generalised Pustular Psoriasis, otherwise known as GPP, is a rare yet devastating skin disease, characterised by flares. GPP flares can greatly impact a patient’s life and lead to serious, life-threatening complications, and until recently, there had been no approved treatment options to manage this debilitating condition.

Now, we finally have Spesolimab, under the brand name of SPEVIGO, the first targeted treatment option approved in the market for GPP flares. It was a delight for the journalist in me to listen to a power-packed line up of local and global GPP experts, who shared their insights on managing GPP at this exclusive event.
