It was an honour for Emcee Wayne Chan to host a special gala dinner for Air Canada which gathered the airline’s key clients and partners in Singapore, some who had flown in from British Columbia, to learn and share about the upcoming new route connecting the Lion City and #Vancouver from 4th April 2024. 

The event was held on 29 Sept 2023, coinciding nicely with our local mid autumn celebrations, and was graced by the High Commissioner of Canada to Singapore, Jean-Dominique Ieraci.

The festivities infused many interesting elements from the Great White North, especially Canadian food such as Nanaimo Bars, Sweet Bannock and of course, generous servings of Maple Syrup for all to enjoy.

We had a fun time learning a lot of interesting facts about Vancouver, which hosted the Winter Olympics in 2010, and look forward to visiting this prime spot for Hollywood movies, given its close proximity to Los Angeles, and having produced homegrown talents such as Ryan Reynolds and Michael J. Fox.
