The event also saw NTT DATA and NTT Security Holdings signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) to partner on strengthening Singapore’s national cyber defence. The partnership aims to investigate and share cybersecurity intelligence across the Asia Pacific region. It will encompass advanced analytical methodologies, cross-disciplinary technology exchanges in areas such as data engineering and cutting-edge architecture, and efforts to counter threats from sophisticated adversaries. The MoU provides a framework for exploring new opportunities for NTT Data in Singapore and NTT Security Holdings’ platforms to be piloted and customised to meet Singapore’s cybersecurity needs. CSIT will benefit from collaborative projects that address targeted cybersecurity issues and creating expandable solutions to bolster Singapore’s defensive prowess. Regular leadership meetings and evaluations will ensure sustained progress and ongoing enhancements. “It is imperative that in an increasingly digitally connected world, businesses are adequately equipped with the right capabilities to cope with the cybersecurity risks emerging from today’s technological advancements.
