It was not just an honour, but a privilege for Wayne to be invited to host the second Formula 1 conference, “Formula 1 and Beyond: The Next Lap”, in 2019.

Organized by Singapore Grand Prix to bring F1 closer to the community, Wayne was enthralled to learn so much about F1’s rich 69-year history, discovering how it is nurturing passion for racing through esports, and getting insights into how McLaren is going above and beyond, to deliver transformative technology, not just on the race track, but to society and people’s lives.

Lucky fans at the event, who had come from all over the world, also got the chance to win tickets to a Pit Lane Experience to get a sneak peek of the Formula 1 cars up close and even a special drivers’ autograph session to meet their favourite drivers in person, complete with cocktails and canapes before the race.
